Description

This penthouse apartment offers not only the best place to enjoy your complimentary Nespresso coffee (or evening drink). With its prime location, original wooden details, and a beautiful private terrace, this top-apartment is really something special. That’s what we think anyways. But we’re pretty sure our guests will agree!

The space

Especially if you’re looking to stay in a peaceful and quiet area, but still want to be close to all the shops, bars and restaurants in central Stavanger. Here you’ll be surrounded by extravagant villas and historical buildings, as well as nature. The terrace offers an amazing view over the green garden (at least if you’re visiting during spring and summer) and is also equipped with a gas grill, so you’ll be able to cook dinner outside.

The apartment has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a king-sized bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains to ensure a good night's sleep, and the comfy sofa in the living room easily converts to a queen-sized bed. And speaking of comfort: The living area is beautifully decorated and designed to be a relaxing space. We’re talking open concept, direct entrance to the terrace, and the perfect little nook to enjoy your favourite movie. It’s also laptop-friendly if you’re here to work!

The neighbourhood

The district of Eiganes is located west of the city centre. And let me tell you, it's home to some pretty amazing stuff. In fact, this historical building used to belong to Arne Rettedal who was the Mayor of Stavanger city and largely responsible for making Stavanger the "City of Oil". In this area we’ve also got the fancy-schmancy residence of the Kielland family called Ledaal. Nowadays, it's used as a royal residence and for fancy events. Oh, and they've turned it into a museum too, so you can go check it out. Right across the street, there's this cool villa called Breidablikk, built by a big-shot shipowner named Berentsen back in 1881. They've turned that into a museum too, so it's open for everyone to explore. You should check it out!

Getting around

It’s easy! You’re within walking distance to museums, restaurants, shops, and bars, and at the same time in a lush, quiet, and secluded area with green surroundings. Must-sees like Old Stavanger, Breidablikk and Stavanger Cathedral are just a stroll away. The apartment is within walking distance to Stavanger train station and bus station. You can also request a private parking space on the property.

Comfortable penthouse apartment in quiet neighbourhood close to centrum. Well apportioned and great base to enjoy Stavanger. Galley kitchen is small though and finding worktop and shelf space difficult. Great bathroom and shower. Supermarket nearby as well as Lervig bar.
